Police to arrest Unregistered Vehicles on Lagos Roads

The Lagos state police command will soon begin the arrest of unregistered vehicles on Lagos roads. This statement was made by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command CP Umar A. Manko MNI, in a press release made available to pressmen by the police public relations officer of the command Ngozi Braide. In it CP Manko had observed with dismay the way and manner at which vehicle road users violate laws of the land by operating their vehicles on Lagos roads without registration.

He then advice and warn all motorists to make sure that their vehicles are adequately registered, stating further that, the Command would only give a grace of one month with effect from January 13th, 2014 to February 13th, 2014 for unregistered vehicle to get registered. Thereafter, the Command would be left with no option than to commence a thorough clampdown on offenders. We will no longer tolerate such deviant behavior and violators will be charged to court the statement further reads
