Flavor Flav Arrested, Released for Mother’s Funeral

Flavor Flav was pulled over for speeding in a black Hyundai, in Hempstead, New York, Thursday (Jan. 9).

Long Island State Troopers say he was going 79 on a 55 mph stretch, reports hold, and it turns out his license has 16 suspensions on it, stemming from unpaid tickets. A little bit of weed was also found.

Flav was brought in on felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, booked, and then released the same day, without bail, to attend his mother’s funeral.

Flav’s mom, Anna Drayton, died on New Year’s Eve. “I’m gonna miss her,” Flav tweeted. “She lived a good life.”
