Osaze Odemwingie will shine under new Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to Chima Chukwu who played for the coach at Molde.
“I am sure Odemwingie will succeed with him because he is a coach who gives a chance to every player and allows you to express yourself on the pitch. He is a good man and a good coach,” remarked Chukwu, who played under the ex-Manchester United star along with compatriot Emmanuel Ekpo.
“Ole Gunnar is a wonderful person to be with. As a coach, he carries every player and his assistants along in what he does. He gives you many reasons to be his player.”
Osaze has not featured for the Welsh club since the exit of Malky Mackay.
Chukwu admitted Solskjaer will be sorely missed at Molde, who won a first-ever Norwegian championship under him.
“His departure was unexpected and sudden, that is football. He has achieved success with the team and can still do more but we have to move forward without him,” he said.
